Born Amongst Controversy. The first Grand Theft Auto had a top down view
and not-so-realistic graphics. However it still generated a
lot of controversy for its gameplay.
Breaking The Law. The transition into 3D is where the series achieved
its maximum potential, and because the effect is more realistic
it has got even more flak from the anti-violent brigade.
Wanna Join me for a Drink? Grand Theft Auto Vice City, introduced some interesting
sub-plots in the underground world of gangsta lust. The lovely
beaches, good looking girls in bikini, and long motorcycle rides
are a nice side effect though.
Easy Rider. With Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories
everyone can join in the fun as it makes good use of the Playstation
Portable system. Now, wouldn't an online MMORPG based on Grand
Theft Auto be cool?
A Collage of Violence. What is it that keeps attracting people to this
game? Is it the fantasy of being able to act anyway you want
but would never do in real life, or is it the addictive gameplay
that keeps challenging the player with new twists and turns?
For me, it's a bit of both.
To Steal Or Not To Steal. You don't have much choice when it comes to playing
Grand Theft Auto. It's up to you however to select how much
of a bastard you want to be, from just doing what needs to be
done to get out of a sticky situation up to excelling in pure
evil destruction.
Hot Coffee. It is with Grand Theft Auto San Andreas that
Rockstar generated the most controversy so far by introducing
a patch where the player can participate in an uncensored sex
scene..
Driving Till The Sun Goes
Down. You can take a break to enjoy the sea breeze,
but sooner or later the cops will come and find you. It's the
simple law of life.
